Dot NAME Domain Name Registrations

Started in 2001, the Dot NAME universal top-level extension is the single TLD intended for personal sites only. These domain names can be personal or fictitious names, aliases and/or other titles people are famous by. Initially, only 3rd-level registrations were possible, so if you wanted to reserve john.doe.name, you would have to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and second-level registrations were also allowed. Already taken third-level names remained online.

Through our company, you can get your dot NAME domain for an interval between one and ten years. You will be able to edit the WHOIS details, to park your domain, to modify Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an existing domain to our firm if you have its EPP transfer authorization code from the present registration service provider and we will renew it after the transfer has been finalized. There are no specific prerequisites on who can book a dot NAME domain name, but in order to preserve the concept behind its establishment alive, the dot NAME Registry may check who the Registrant is and if there is no connection between the owner and the actual domain name, the registration can be challenged.

The dot NAME universal top-level extension is one of the extensions that support internationalized domains, so we can also register a domain in any language at no added cost. In this way, your .NAME domain will be recognized in your country or region with the precise spelling in your native language.
